John MacArthur yesterday on Grace to You
plainly said:
"when you accept Christ you receive the
imputed righteousness of Christ" and he calls himself a five-point
Calvinist. Anyone saying this and saying he is five points is inconsistent and
confused! Good morning America, rise and shine and give man the glory, children
of Pelagius!!! (copied from Charles Page)
He who has a pea mind to think and reason,
let us reason together for just a wee bit.
A man is conceived and born in his native
state of sin and condemnation. He is in his native un-justified state, i.e.
without the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ. In his native state, he is
DEAD in trespasses and sin. He is dead in the sense of utterly incapable of
performing any activity that brings himself to God. But he is very much alive
in his rebellion and enmity against God!
If a man in that state is able to accept
Christ in order to receive the imputed righteousness of Christ, then every dead
Americans can eat french fries!
God bless John Mad-udder!

Bitter milk is POISONOUS milk... and that's
what John Mad-Udder is spewing forth, and many are addicted to it!
Going off for our mid-week bible study... at
Acts 6 this evening.

I preached from Acts 6 this past Sunday.
Please share your thoughts with me if you have time 🙂

John M's lordship salvation doctrine is not a
far leap to Pelagius, IMO.

The 'reformed' folks rightly say that their
regeneration precedes faith, BUT always insist that their LEGAL justification,
the actual imputation of Christ's righteousness to them follows their act of
believing Jesus Christ.
And no matter how hard you try to explain
to them their DEFORMED view, they refuse to see the plain contradiction in
their understanding.
In their above understanding, they are saying
that an UN-justified person is already regenerated, or a regenerated person is
still UN-justified, i.e. still in his native state of death and condemnation.
How about a reformed view that a man in his native state of death and
condemnation is also at the same time regenerated and able to believe IN ORDER
to be justified, i.e. have Christ's righteousness imputed to him!
How could an unjustified man be regenerated?
Sin brings condemnation and death. Righteousness is a prerequisite to
justification and life. Without the imputation of Christ's righteousness, there
is no justification and no life. Condemnation and death remain.
Justification is the ground of regeneration: the IMPUTATION of righteousness at the cross, and the APPLICATION of righteousness to an elect personally at the effectual call to grace and salvation is the GROUND of regeneration.
