"Feed my lambs... Feed my sheep...Feed my sheep..." No, I didn't say, Help me to produce them! Can't you understand a simple instruction? |

The
Lord-centred evangelism:
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded...
The
man-centred evangelism:
19.
Go ye therefore, and offer salvation to every one.
20.
Begging the dead in trespasses and sins to
accept Christ, so that they may be regenerated, and be saved.
Teach
all nations - not just the Jews, but all people groups. God has His children
(i.e. elect that are already regenerated - directly and immediately by the
divine work of the Holy Spirit, without any preacher's aid!) in every ethnos,
people group.
"After
this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all
nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and
before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands." Rev 7:9
The
Lord's disciples were sent out to TEACH God's children, teach them the truth of
their free grace salvation, and the ways of godliness becoming for God's
children.
Deluded
people go out in Christ's name, to offer salvation to those that are dead in
trespasses and sins.
To
offer salvation to them that perish is the height of folly of the preachers,
and also the zenith of insult and injury and mockery to the dead! And those
preachers think you are very loving in sincerely offering salvation to all the
dead! Is there a greater way to mock the dead than to offer them salvation on the condition that they believe?
To
offer salvation to them that ARE SAVED, it is no less foolish because the offer
comes too late. It is also a great affront to God who has already bestowed them
salvation by His free grace What shameless audacity... are they insinuating
that God is a liar? Then why behave as though God Himself has not bestowed the
eternal salvation in Christ Jesus?
And
where do all those preachers get the idea from that they were sent out to offer
salvation to every one? Who sent them out to do such a thing? Themselves? Their
church? Their mission board? What presumption and delusion!
"For
the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us
which are saved it is the power of God."
Apostle
Paul is making a universal statement of truth, the present tense form of the
whole statement confirms that. Present indicative presents an indicative
statement of fact that is always true in every situation.
The
gospel is ALWAYS perceived as foolishness when it comes to the perishing ones.
The same gospel is the good news about the power of God in salvation to them
that ARE SAVED (present passive middle participles - those ALREADY effectually
called to grace and salvation).
When
the gospel comes to them that ARE SAVED... it is believed as the good news of
God's power in saving them.
It
is not that the gospel comes to them that are lost, and the Spirit uses it to
regenerate them, and they believe, and got saved! That's the heresy of gospel
regeneration!
The
gospel is ordained to bring to light the life and immortality in them that ARE
SAVED.
"But
is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath
abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the
Gentiles."
Please note "hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel."

"Facts
are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclination, or the
dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and
evidence." John Adams
======
The
facts of God's free and sovereign work remain the same... man's futile and
vain imagination do not alter and change that fact. Their imaginations only
disclose the unbelief and waywardness of their hearts and mind.
