In eternal salvation: ALL the saving acts are solely God's alone - from eternity unto eternity, from predestination unto glorification.
Many
of God's children: the Calvinists and Arminians alike, won't receive this
humbling truth.

8:

¶ For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image
of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called,
them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
The
unlearned and unstable believers will wrest this passage, as they do also the
other scriptures, unto their own destruction (temporal)
They
will insist on reading the activities of men into the passage above... twisting
the divine effectual call into gospel call by the preachers... the vital
justification by God's free grace into the practical justification by their
faith, etc.
