Did Jesus offer you eternal life, or
Did
Jesus freely give eternal life to you WHEN you were in your native state of sin
and death?
Jesus
GIVES eternal life freely, He does not offer eternal life to the spiritually dead

... And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast
heard me.

And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand
by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come
forth.

And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his
face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let
him go.
Only
AFTER Jesus Christ Himself HAD GIVEN life to Lazarus, He commanded the
disciples to do something for Lazarus.
Jesus, Himself ALONE gives eternal salvation; the disciples are instrumental to bring
temporal salvation.
Those
who say that Jesus offers life to the dead make Jesus appear like an idiot,
and betray themselves to be true idiots... because they know it is insane to
offer anything to the dead and expect the dead to receive it!
I
know the Chinese ancestral worshipers offer roast pig and cognac to the dead...
but end up consuming those things themselves! They are the shrewdest folks
on earth, and very superstitious too!
