"Any difference between gospel regeneration and baptismal regeneration? No difference. While a catholic must baptise a baby for it to be saved, a calminian must preach to it. Quite sad." ~~ Ante Zivkovic
Thank
you, Brother, for bringing this to our attention. I have rephrased your words a
wee bit.
John
3:8 KJV — The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound
thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every
one that is born of the Spirit.
"So
is every one [i.e. WITHOUT a single exception] that is born of the Spirit"
- i.e. born immediately and directly by the free and sovereign activity of the
Spirit of God.
You
will never hear simple farmers say that unless they are working in the farm,
the wind will never blow; you have heard very many seminary-trained theologians
and preachers insist that their preaching is necessary the catalyst for the
Holy Spirit to execute His work of regenerating the spiritually dead.
What
has gone wrong? Pray tell.
