Mr Yeoh
insisted that the ordinance the Lord Jesus Christ instituted for His church is
called the Passover...and going around harassing the sheep with his fable. I
gave him a good and fair hearing... then I wrote the email below to him. He
espoused worse errors... unless one partakes of the Passover, he has no eternal
life, THAT IS, partaking of the Passover is necessary to have eternal life. And
his proof text is John 6:54 "Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood,
hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day." Typical error
- a statement of fact is twisted into a statement of conditional offer. Same
type of error as believing is the condition to have eternal life.)

The
word passover is used in the NT not less than 27 times...
- 4
times in Matthew (26:2,17,18,19)
- 5
times in Mark (14:1,12 - twice,14,16)
- 7
times in Luke (22:1,7,8,11,13,15; 2:41)
- 9
times in John (2:13,23; 6:4; 11:55 - twice; 12:1; 13:1; 18:28,39; 19:14)

Once in 1Corinthians. (5:7)

Once in Hebrews. (11:28)
NOT once is the word "passover" ever used to describe the ordinance instituted by the Lord Jesus Christ for the new covenant. The word "passover" is always used in connection with that Jewish feast instituted for Israel in Exodus. The occurrence in 1Cor 5:7 refers to Christ Jesus as the passover. Check the facts for yourself.... I have listed all the occurrences of the word "passover" in the NT.

Open your eyes, sir - "... the Jew's passover... a feast of the Jews..."
You boast about believing the Bible. Believe these HARD FACTS then, and stop being DECEIVED and DELUDED and MISGUIDED by false teachers.
1Cor 11:20 "When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper."
1Cor 10:21 "Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils."
The Scriptures by DIVINE INSPIRATION call the new covenant ordinance instituted by the Lord Jesus Christ by the name of the Lord's supper, and the Lord's table.
To believe lies is bad enough. To go around pushing lies as truth is much worse. REPENT! REPENT! Remember the warning of Christ... "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves."

have to decide what you want to do with the FACTS I set before you. Don’t boast that you believe what the Bible says. You DON'T, but are deceived. You have been
