Things New and Old

Ancient truths revealed in the Scriptures are often forgotten, disbelieved or distorted, and therefore lost in the passage of time. Such ancient truths when rediscovered and relearned are 'new' additions to the treasury of ancient truths.

Christ showed many new things to the disciples, things prophesied by the prophets of old but hijacked and perverted by the elders and their traditions, but which Christ reclaimed and returned to His people.

Many things taught by the Apostles of Christ have been perverted or substituted over the centuries. Such fundamental doctrines like salvation by grace and justification have been hijacked and perverted and repudiated by sincere Christians. These doctrines need to be reclaimed and restored to God's people.

There are things both new and old here. "Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things"
2Ti 2:7.

Wild Fables

Wild Fables...

I read this:
@johnmacarthur: There are lots of books that can change your thinking. There's only one that can change your nature. #inerrancysummit

I commented:
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, no book, NOT EVEN the Holy Bible, can change your nature!

The Almighty Triune God alone can do that, i.e. change a man's nature! There were centuries when the "only one book that can change your nature" DID NOT exist. How was the nature of man changed when "the only one book" did not exist?

And there is only one book that tells you the truth of that glorious work of redemption - i.e. changing your nature as a man in your native state of sin and death to that of grace and salvation in Christ Jesus!

I read a lot of strange quotes coming from that conference.

Sing
Mat 15:14 "Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch."

Whenever this subject is brought up the reformed start parroting: "God uses means!".

Sing
For a long while there was no Bible, not even a fragment of it - if we believe that the first five books of the OT were penned by Moses.

How then did the elect of God in that long period got their nature changed?

Then even when the Bible was completed before 70AD, the larger part of the world was without the Book for many hundreds of years.

What are the implications of all these hard facts?

Every proposition has its necessary implications.

What about when there was no means for God to use?

I was converted via internet.
They should build a fleet of robots called the Regenerators.

Apparently, In my case, Holy Spirit used modern technology to regenerate. Weren't it for the internet, I might have gone to hell.

Only ONE VOICE can change your NATURE, and that voice is NOT the Preacher's Voice. Guess Who? John 5:25. Kindly

MacA believes hearing the NKJV brings a change in your nature.
