Jude 3 "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints." (kjv)
See
what it says - the faith was delivered to the saints. Saints are PRIOR to the
deliverance of the faith to them. Plain enough?
There goes the heretical notion of gospel regeneration!

Romans
1:6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ: 7 To all that be in
Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our
Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The
recipients are described as::
-
ALSO the called of Jesus Christ
-
Beloved of God
-
Called saints,
though
they were in urgent need of hearing the gospel from Apostle Paul!
Please
note very carefully that Apostle Paul was writing to those in Rome who were
ALREADY the ‘called of Jesus Christ’, ‘beloved of God,’ and ‘called saints’.
Such
are found among ALL nations (ethnesin- from which we get ‘ethnic’), i.e. among
all people groups. Apostle Paul is writing to such in Rome.
His
apostleship/apostolic ministry is intended for those whom he describes as ‘the
called of Jesus Christ,’ ‘beloved of God,’ and ‘called saints.’ God is their
Father, and Jesus Christ is Lord over them.
Therefore
Apostle Paul’s writing to these people must never be understood as teaching
them HOW they can become the ‘called of Jesus Christ’, ‘beloved of God,’
‘saints,’ and children of God.
They
were ALREADY such… and were such without, and before the hearing of the gospel.
see Romans 15:20.
The
popular lie of ‘gospel regeneration’, i.e. gospel preaching is the necessary
prerequisite instrument for regeneration is repudiated by the plain testimony
of Scriptures.
Apostle Paul was earnest and urgent in preaching the gospel to those who were ALSO the called of Jesus Christ, Beloved of God, and Called saints.

Lord,
open the blind eyes of the gospel regenerationists among your children to
behold, and to teach, the truth of pure grace in eternal salvation.

Does
God ordain all events that come to pass? And before Jesus said Lazarus come
forth was Lazarus already alive?

Alan,
send over a beef calf first, then I will think about your meaty questions!

Alan, the calf came through... I downloaded it!
Neat
huh!
Brother
Keith has given you good answers to your first question.
No,
God did not ordain ALL events that come to pass. He did ordain MANY events to
come to pass.
Before
Jesus spoke His LIFE-GIVING voice, Lazarus was dead and rotting away.
And
before Jesus spoke His LIFE-GIVING voice, Lazarus was dead and rotting away,
the disciples were helpless, incapable of doing anything. The Lord himself
didn't ask them to do anything, because there was ABSOLUTELY nothing they can
do!
However
after Christ has summoned Lazarus to life, Christ told His disciples to ASSIST
Lazarus... to free him.
43
And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44
And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his
face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let
him go.
