Cranberry Hibiscus blooming orderly! |

A
brother said, "Interestingly, I was looking at the Ordo Salutis of a
Reformed website and they had it as 1) Election 2) Predestination 3) Gospel
Call 4) Inward Call 5) Regeneration 6) Conversion (Faith and Repentance) 7)
Justification 8) Sanctification 9) Glorification."
What
do you think? Is this Calvinism? if it is, then Calvinism is a pack of
confusion, and LIES!

Calvinism
is a ditch on one side of the road, and Arminianism is the ditch on the other
side! God's word is clear for us to turn neither to the right hand nor to the
left.

I
don't equate Calvinism with the man Calvin! Calvinism is a theological system
embraced by those who label themselves 'reformed' and 'calvinistic'. And that
system includes the Ordo Salutis stated above.
I
don't equate Calvinism with the Bible... so calling Calvinism a pack of
confusion and lies DOES NOT make the Bible author a pack of confusion and
lies!!
His
articulation of the Bible does make his system of beliefs a pack of confusion
and lies!
A biblical distinction is the essence of sound theology!

confusing!
who authors confusion?

The
author of the reformed website who produced that Ordo Salutis above... that is
the typical/standard Order of Salvation of the Reformed/Calvinists.
Do you see anything wrong with that Order?
Charles

It
has to agree with the Biblical order which is foreknowledge, predestination,
calling, justification and glorification. As I see it you can fill in between
this listed order but not rearrange it. For instance, sanctification precedes
glorification for obvious reasons, predestination is the same as election.
Gospel and the inward call would naturally follow regeneration (that is if the inward
call is not regeneration)
In the game cards (Poker) there are wild cards that are reserved for the dealer to determine and this order has wild cards!

Wild
cards - like gospel regeneration, justification by faith, etc. - that damn many
of God's elect!
Those
elect that incapable of hearing and believing, and those who have no
opportunity of hearing are those damned by this order of salvation!
This
order of salvation makes men indispensable in the eternal salvation of God's
elect!
Sing

That
deformed Disorder of Salvation is:
-
Dangerous: it endangers the eternal destiny of many elect.
-
Blasphemous: it conditions the divine and sovereign work of regeneration upon
man's preaching.
-
Irrational: Gospel call precedes the effectual call
-
Confusion: Confuses effectual call with inward call.
-
Nonsensical: Regeneration can occur without justification!
Quite
a few more... I will expand on this later on.
Charles Page
Dangerous:
it beguiles many out of their eternal rewards, a dangerous deception, unalterable
destiny of the elect of God.
I
don't plan on letting anyone beguile me of my reward. I am striving to be the
best I can be for Christ! I shall wear a crown, yes, I shall wear a crown in
that new Jerusalem!
