Things New and Old

Ancient truths revealed in the Scriptures are often forgotten, disbelieved or distorted, and therefore lost in the passage of time. Such ancient truths when rediscovered and relearned are 'new' additions to the treasury of ancient truths.

Christ showed many new things to the disciples, things prophesied by the prophets of old but hijacked and perverted by the elders and their traditions, but which Christ reclaimed and returned to His people.

Many things taught by the Apostles of Christ have been perverted or substituted over the centuries. Such fundamental doctrines like salvation by grace and justification have been hijacked and perverted and repudiated by sincere Christians. These doctrines need to be reclaimed and restored to God's people.

There are things both new and old here. "Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things" 2Ti 2:7.

How do you know I will teach the truth of God at your seminary?

Many who claim to believe the Bible is the word of God actually believe completely different things. Does your seminary have a doctrinal statement?

From my previous visits, I had the impression that M. is a land of bible colleges and seminaries; I met a lot of people with Th.M. and B.Th... all graduates of bible colleges and seminaries, but who have nothing to do. Is that still the same today?

I love you, Brother. But I fear for you. Many people write to me, like you do... from Nepal, from Pakistan, from Sri Lanka, from Kenya, from Timbuktu… I have been to Myanmar, Sri Lanka and the Philippines... but people are not interested in LEARNING the truth.

(I also invite speakers to our church but I invite ONLY speakers whom we know and whose beliefs we love, and we are interested in learning and knowing those truth better.)

I just think you are a foolish man, going around inviting people whose teachings you don't know.
Perhaps, you reject "Scriptures Alone"!

The Bible is the only source of divine revelation. So STUDY, STUDY, STUDY... then teach, teach, teach... that God's children may know God's word, and live out God's word.
