| Below was written to someone who repudiates the doctrine of imputation. (with the quote from NTWright to support it.) |
#imputation_mocked_repudiated
Romans
5:18 KJV — Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to
condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all
men unto justification of life.
HOW,
by the offence of one, judgment came [simple past tense] upon all men to
condemnation? When did this happen?
(The sin of Adam was IMPUTED to all represented by him, resulting in their condemnation of death. This took place during the fall.)
HOW,
by the righteousness of one, the free gift came [simple past tense] upon all
men unto justification of life? When did this happen?
(The righteousness of Christ was IMPUTED to all represented by Him, resulting in their justification of life. This took place when Christ died on the cross.)
By
what same law/principle did the above HAPPEN?
(By the laws of representation and imputation.)
Tell
me what is the word that conveys/expresses this principle.
The
NPP's usage of a human court to mock and repudiate the gospel truth of the
imputation of righteousness is a FATAL flaw.
In
an earthly human court,
The judge and the advocate for the defendant cannot be related. Otherwise, the
judge must recuse himself to avoid any conflict of interest.
In
the heavenly divine court,
The Judge of and the Advocate for the condemned are related as Father and Son; the
Advocate being appointed by the Judge himself, for the condemned. The Advocate
is also the Redeemer of the defendants.
The
NPP has lost its plot; it's Empty Wrong.
Thanks.
