Things New and Old

Ancient truths revealed in the Scriptures are often forgotten, disbelieved or distorted, and therefore lost in the passage of time. Such ancient truths when rediscovered and relearned are 'new' additions to the treasury of ancient truths.

Christ showed many new things to the disciples, things prophesied by the prophets of old but hijacked and perverted by the elders and their traditions, but which Christ reclaimed and returned to His people.

Many things taught by the Apostles of Christ have been perverted or substituted over the centuries. Such fundamental doctrines like salvation by grace and justification have been hijacked and perverted and repudiated by sincere Christians. These doctrines need to be reclaimed and restored to God's people.

There are things both new and old here. "Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things"
2Ti 2:7.

Woolliness is not a virtue...

The LORD's wrath is kindled against three men because
they "have not spoken of me the thing that is right..."

Woolliness is not a virtue; equivocation is enmity to the word of truth

Beware, brethren who choose to be woolly... and those who refuse to learn to be precise... beware!

The LORD is not pleased with woolly things we speak of Him! Many think He is too exact and precise!

The LORD's wrath is kindled against three men because they "have not spoken of me the thing that is right..."

7 ¶ And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.
8 Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt-offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job. (Job 42)

Apostle Paul did exhort, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Precision and truthfulness demands that type of study.

Precision requires rightly dividing the word of truth!!!
And lazy woolly minds hate that demanding work!

But many people do despise precision in presenting God's truth... they seriously think broadness / vague (woolliness) is a virtue!!!
