This photo has been making its rounds in the cyberspace!
And the tragedy is this: so many Christians 'liked' it.
Others think the photo promotes superstition!

I hope you're joking when you posted that, because it's one of the most retarded pictures I've ever seen. Sorry but I really do mean it. The devil isn't a softie like that.

Those things may be true with the RC's Douay Bible
May be Matthine is joking, AND poking fun at the RCC!
Matthine
"If you do not believe the word of God itself is perfect, pure, reliable and true, how can you trust that the salvation it speaks of is true? Or anything else it tells us? Take hold of the word of God by faith brethren." (Elder Ellis)
If there is no power or any authority on the written word of God, then why there are so many effort trying to pervert and subvert it? God Forbid.

You are so cute!
How does Elder Keith Ellis words relate to the fictional sentiments promoted by your picture?
Can you even keep to a subject? Make some effort.... keep to the subject!
Perhaps those new translations are more likely money generating scams that anything else!
Truth is never fearful of the counterfeit. So why so paranoid and defensive and fearful!

The devil wants people to believe the fiction and fable that he is so easily defeated by some superstitious acts! And people so love to believe so! The serpent is indeed more SUBTLE ... deceiving even those supposedly in God's own Army! What a mighty triumph on the part of the devil!

Sing, you have said what I have wanted to articulate for so long...superstitious acts the word of God is so precious and to reduce it to a supertitous act is pure folly. People will carry an old sun worn Bible on their car dash or in the rear window deck as a symbol and yet mock the RCC for having a crucifix or a saints statue attached to the dash. Why not have a wobble head Jesus on the car? pure idolatry!

The bible is more than an amulet to ward off evil spirits or to outsmart the devil. It is certainly not to be used as a chain threat if ignored!
